On March 8, 2000, Judge Greg Lyman issued his opinion in Michael Combs v. Joe Baldwin, Silver Eagle Mining Company and Tusco et al. PDR represented entrepreneur Michael Combs, who had purchased various mining and milling properties from the defendants. The properties are located in San Miguel and San Juan Counties, in the heart of the San Juan Mountains. Judge Lyman rescinded various transactions and entered judgment in favor of PDR's client, Michael Combs. The value of the judgment exceeded $2,500,000. PDR's work involved several weeks of trial related to complex mining law and real estate/real property issues.
